The Diamonds MCC is a small club affiliated to the ACU Mid Wales Centre.

The club usually organises one trail bike rally (easy enduros) in Wales each year, but due to the Hafren Dirt Bike Club's World Enduro Championship round in the summer of 2008, this year's rally has been cancelled.   The event was due to run on 1st and 2nd March and would have been the first round of the Big Bike Challenge.   The club will offer a trail riding weekend instead for riders of the big bikes.   On Saturday the going will be fairly easy and suitable for novices, and on Sunday it will take in some lanes that will be challenging on Big Bikes. Small charge of £15 for one day’s riding or £25 if doing both.

The club runs training days in off-road riding at various locations in Wales.   Two women's trail riding weekends are planned for the spring and early summer of 2008.   One will be for novices and the other for experienced riders, who will be riding challenging routes in the Machynlleth, Dolgellau and Barmouth areas.

If you are a woman currently competing in any discipline of motorcycle sport, or have in the past, including sidecar passengers, I would be very grateful if you could email me marianne@diamondsmcc.org.uk some information about your career, including photos, so that I can include you on the "women competitors" pages.  Thanks.
